He'd had a nice little conversation with a football fan. She had been funny and charming and made him smile which was a nice feeling. They had exchanged contact information and left it at that. They texted a hello here and there and carried on conversations that ranged over many topics. It was definitely a breath of fresh air he needed at times.


He didn't know however that same woman was on her way to surprise him with an in person visit. When she had called and asked him what he had wanted to eat he had been pleasantly surprised, of course he was a man from Memphis so of course it had to be some good old barbecue.
